Grace Foley turned childhood and teenage curiosity and an interest in makeup into a desire for a professional career in the cinematic special effects and beauty makeup industries. In 2023, Grace completed her cinematic makeup education at Hollywood’s top professional school. Grace stays current on the latest trends in her field, has makeup industry knowledge, time-management skills, great attention to detail, and works very effectively under pressure. 

 

Grace received the Complete Track Diploma from the Cinema Makeup School in Hollywood, CA in May of 2023. The Complete Track is the full, comprehensive makeup education in special effects and beauty makeup. Special Effects training included Prosthetics – scars, wounds, and other alterations to the body, Aging processes – bald caps and facial hair,  and the Application of pros-aide transfers for stage and film, silicone prosthetics and gelatin transfers.

 
Coursework in Beauty and Advanced Beauty included Avant-garde, TV and film, Red carpet glamour, Traditional makeup including the challenging “no makeup makeup”, Skin preparation, and choosing the best products based on skin-type and ethnicity. Lab work focused on creating silicone heads typically used in films with major accident or surgery scenes.

 

Grace’s prior work experience includes Freelance Makeup Artist in both Las Vegas, NV and Los Angeles, CA, Human Resource Assistant for FirstMed Health and Wellness Center in Las Vegas, NV, and customer service positions in the food and beverage industry.

 

Through the National Charity League, Grace dedicated more than 100 hours annually to community service throughout Southern Nevada to Shade Tree Shelter for homeless women and children, Catholic Charities soup kitchen, the Miracle League an organized baseball league for children and adults with disabilities, Three Square Food Bank, and the Salvation Army.
